Terms & Refunds

1. Who These Terms Cover

They cover visitors to authoritybuildersnc.com and anyone who buys from Authority Builders NC, a one-person business run by Derris Golding Jr. in Greensboro, North Carolina (“I”, “me”). Sending an email or a form doesn’t create an engagement on its own. An engagement starts when your checkout payment completes (for the Engine, when the $2,500 deposit completes).

2. What I Sell, And For How Much

• The Invisible Expert — $9.99 USD, one time. A downloadable PDF guide with 12 actionable steps for building local authority through content. Its 19 pages include fillable worksheets. Any applicable tax is shown at checkout.
• The Authority Intro — $899.99, one time. An Authority Blueprint strategy session, 3 reels, and a social media strategy. After payment I contact you within 2 business days to schedule the shoot.
• The Authority Sprint — $1,799.99, one time. An Authority Blueprint strategy session, 30 days of content, and lead magnet product creation. After payment I contact you within 2 business days to schedule.
• The Authority Engine — $5,799.99 total. An Authority Blueprint strategy session, 60 days of content, social media management and scheduling, a dedicated custom CRM web app with hosting, weekly analytics reporting, and an AI automation system (auto-replies, follow-ups, link delivery). $5,799.99 total. $2,500 today to start. $3,299.99 due only after every deliverable is in your hands.

Prices can change. The price shown on this site or in your Stripe checkout at the moment you pay is the one that applies to you.

3. Payment

All payments go through Stripe. I never see or store your card details. The Invisible Expert, the Intro and the Sprint are paid in full at checkout. The Engine is paid in two parts: a $2,500 deposit at checkout, then the $3,299.99 balance, which I send as a Stripe invoice to the email you checked out with once every deliverable is in your hands. Nothing on this site is a subscription.

4. Timings, And What “Business Days” Means

Business days are Monday to Friday, Eastern Time. Weekends do not count. After Stripe confirms payment for The Invisible Expert, the confirmation page provides protected download access. Save that confirmation link. If payment is still processing, return to the confirmation page; do not pay again. For access help, email derrisg.nc@authoritybuildersnc.com using the email from your purchase.

I reply to enquiries within 2 business days.

5. Scheduling And Rescheduling

Sessions and filming days are booked to a confirmed window. Move it with at least 48 hours’ notice and I’ll reschedule at no charge, as often as you reasonably need. Inside 48 hours, or a no-show, and I’ll offer one free reschedule as a courtesy; after that the session is treated as delivered. If I have to move a date, I reschedule at no charge and you keep the option of a full refund instead.

6. Refunds, By Tier

Each tier has its own refund trigger, because a download, a filming day and a 60-day build are different kinds of work.

• The Invisible Expert Guide ($9.99). Request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase by emailing derrisg.nc@authoritybuildersnc.com from the email used at checkout. No reason is required. After a full refund, new downloads are disabled; you may keep and use a copy you already downloaded for your own business.
• The Authority Intro ($899.99) and The Authority Sprint ($1,799.99). Full and unconditional refund any time before the shoot begins. Once a filming day has taken place, that production time is not recoverable.
• The Authority Engine ($5,799.99 total). $5,799.99 total. $2,500 today to start. $3,299.99 due only after every deliverable is in your hands.

Eligible refunds go to the original payment method. I aim to submit them the same business day; Stripe then takes its own five to ten days to put the money back on your statement. Nothing in this section removes rights you have under North Carolina or federal consumer law.

7. What You Get To Do With The Work

Your completed offer brief, scripts, plans, videos, and other custom outputs are yours to use commercially. The Invisible Expert guide, its blank worksheets, teaching text, and brand materials remain Authority Builders NC intellectual property and are provided for your own business use. Do not resell or redistribute the blank materials. I may show completed client work in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

8. What I Need From You

Access to the accounts you want reviewed, honest answers about the business, showing up for booked sessions, and the right to use any location, logo, footage or music you ask me to include. If material you supply infringes someone else’s rights, that’s on you.

9. What I Don’t Promise

I don’t promise followers, leads, revenue or any specific result. Nobody honestly can — the platforms change, and what you do with the plan is yours. I promise the work described in section 2, done properly, on time. My total liability for anything connected to an engagement is limited to what you paid me for it.

10. Paid Digital Guide Access

The Invisible Expert requires a verified payment. You do not need an ABNC Ops account. Your confirmation link is private: keep it for your own use and do not share it. You may use your completed answers and plans in your own business. The blank guide, worksheets, and Authority Builders NC branding are not for resale or redistribution.

11. Ending Things

None of these offers is a subscription, so there is nothing to cancel month to month. If I end an engagement early for any reason other than your breach of these terms, I refund the unused portion.

12. Governing Law And Contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. If something goes wrong, email me first — almost everything gets solved that way. derrisg.nc@authoritybuildersnc.com.

13. Changes

If these terms change, the version in force for you is the one published on the day you paid. I’ll update the date at the top when I change anything.
